Q: Why did you move to this site?

Sagas and E-RPG material once called www.ironwoodnexus.com home. Ironwood Omnimedia is the game publisher. They release the products and sell them when they are ready to go. However, Ironwood is not technically involved with the game development. The development of Sagas is an independant operation. While Ironwood exapnds to encompass a broader range of products, fans of E-RPG want a site that focuses just on the game itself. So that Sagas doesn’t get lost at its origional home by an influx of new projects, we decided to give it its own place.

Besides, its about time Sagas got its own room anyways :) .

The Sagas Game and the E-RPG System FAQ

Q: How do these games work?

In their original form (PnP) these games were played with one player as the Game Master. The GM plays as a kind of story teller and referee. The GM describes the events of the game and players make choices on how their character’s interact in the game. In many cases these actions are decided by dice rolls. These rolls are often effected by the statistics of the characters created by the players.

There are no winners and losers in an RPG. These games are played simply for the joy of it, and also, like in any good story, to see what happens next. Because players have direct control of the characters in the story the story is always changing. This keeps games growing and becoming more interesting over time.

RPG’s are one of the most unique forms of entertainment today. They combine the stories and elements of all major types of media but ultimately give full control to the audience (players).

    Q: What is an RPG?

A Role-Playing Game (RPG) is an interactive game where players create a character with which they control through a story or adventure. There are various types of RPG’s. RPG’s were created to be played with a rule-set and dice (Pen and Paper or PnP games) but are now also a popular genre of computer and console games. The lure of RPG’s is commonly the ability to create and play a game and story that is at least in part definable by the player.

Q: What rule set does this game use?

The E-RPG System is an epic and unique rule set created specifically for players. Most rule sets focus on how their game worlds or settings work and these rules are restricted to that philosophy. E-RPG was designed to be played by any type of player within any type of world, story, or setting, even ones you may be playing and designed for a completely different system.

Q: How can I be involved?

Q: How do I start a game in my neighborhood?
